In case this is helpful, because I saw several reviews that said that the sprayer didn't work: Follow the instructions on the card to pull out the cord from the nozzle, and then firmly insert the end of the cord into the little hole in the top of the cap. It seems like it shouldn't work because the hose doesn't actually go down into the liquid but it does work. Just be sure that the end is pushed in firmly and then be sure to turn the tip on the end of the sprayer to one of the "on" position. It's usually just a quarter turn. It should work fine.

I'm telling everyone who complains about rodents or pests about this product. We had a tough time getting a gang of raccoons to stop using our yard as a latrine, and this made them go away. The smell was pleasant to us and harmless to our dog, other animals, and plants, but was a total deterrent to the raccoons. We sprayed obsessively for several weeks and it seems to have done the trick. Will keep it on hand if another gang decides to show up! Best product for making any space unattractive to pests...waaaay better than the alternative, which was not an option for me.

Our whole town has been struggling with rats for 3 years now. We had them in our basement, and were live-trapping them and taking them to a forest miles away. We also tried rat-proofing the house from the outside, blocking any ways they could dig their way into the basement. This helped, but ultimately nothing stopped them entirely, so I tried this, spraying it daily around the foundation walls in the basement that are exposed - and we haven't had a rat entry since - 6 months.
