This mattress cover seems to work well and fit well - the edges don't pop up, which has been a problem for me in the past with mattress protectors. Super easy to put on the bed. I would not call it soft, and it doesn't add any additional comfort. This is a great value for the money however and I'm happy I made this purchase!
