Key features

  • WHY ARE THEY ESSENTIAL? In the soft sandy ground, a fully inflated tire will sink down when you attempt to drive your truck or rig through it because the point of contact between the tires and sand is narrower. When you deflate a tire, the contact area or footprint of the tire increase so will not dig as deep into the sand as a fully inflated narrow tire.
  • EASY OPERATION - The Hromee tire inflator is an automatic one with thread inside that is easy to operate. It screws directly onto your tire valve stem just like a valve cap and automatically deflates the tire to a target pressure. The brass shell of deflator is for increasing the durability in wind, sun, rain and bad weather after screwing it on your truck. This kit comes with 4 brass solid deflators so you can deflate all four tires simultaneously. The adjustable range is from 6 to 30 PSI.
  • HIGH ACCURACY - Keep the Hromee Tire Deflators in trucks, motorcycles, and dirt bikes so dropping tire pressure is easily, quickly and accurately! The tire deflator comes fine tuned to a factory pre-set to deflate tires to 14 psi, which is generally considered a good all around off road tire pressure. If you worry about the accuracy, a pressure gauge is ready for double check.
  • GLOW DIAL GAUGE - Tire Pressure Gauge features with an extended 360 degree swivel chuck tip allows for easy access to the tire valve from any angle. The rubber protective case surround the pressure gauge protect from damage and help you grip. The surprising design is glowing dial including numbers, pointer and scale that convenient using at dark.
  • CONVENIENT CARRYING CASE - Four deflators and pressure gauge are so light that you could take them anywhere. And we also prepare a leather bag and case for you to storage. This kit comes with extra tire accessories such as 4PCS valve cores, 4 PCS plastic and 4 PCS chrome hex valve caps, 1 PC 4-way tool. It will be a perfect tire deflation tool for your car, motorcycle, truck, bike, SUV, RV or ATV.

Great value

These offer a great value. They need a little but more tweaking then other brands but at a 4th the cost is well work the extra couple of minutes to set it up. They are pretty accurate and have stayed locked into place. only complaint is the hard case is a pain to clip its flimsy. But again value is amazing and quality of the main product is excellent
Definitely need

They take a little time to adjust. But way better than being bent over and letting air out
If you take the time to set up and test - they are very accurate and consistent

Spring loaded pressure valves can vary a bit, but if you take a few extra minutes to set them up properly and give them the best chance to work well, they are pretty accurate and consistent.

These work by using a spring and corresponding adjustable cap to vary the release valve pressure required to close the valve. The majority of the mechanics are brass and likely a light stainless or coated steel spring, but there are also rubber gaskets and o-rings.

To get the most consistent accuracy, my advise is:
1) to disassemble (carefully) and lightly oil the o-rings with a silicone lubricant.
2) reassemble
3) set
4) reinflate tire and test
5) adjust
6) repeat 4-5 as often as needed to get consistency
7) lock the set ring down (with dual pliers)
8) test again (revisit 4-5 if adjustment is needed)

After about 30 min, my tires consistently drop to 20# every time, regardless of which tire or which deflator I am using. Checked them in the garage in the morning...and again in the sun in the afternoon...20# on the nose each time.

Yes they can vary by 1-2# either way (it's a wire spring so precision is gonna be tough) so set them about 1-2# over your lowest comfortable pressure and spot adjust as needed (realistically, running 10% from your target isn't going to make much of a difference (18# v 20# or 15# vs 17.5#)) But to be cautious set it 10% ABOVE your lowest desired pressure, you can always drop more manually but adding back is a pain.

Running 33s on a 4runner and takes about 3-4 min to drop from 35# to 20#.
Exactly as advertised.

They work but the accuracy can vary

My #1 wish for these is that they had some pre-set psi markings, or some notching feelings when turning so you could get to the right psi quickly and consistently.

Takes trial and error but i've found they can give different PSIs from the same tyre e.g. if you get the tyre to the psi you want then plug on each of the deflators and make sure they're set at that psi, you can see the nut is not in the same position on some of the deflators and when you use them on other tyres they give different psis. In one example one of the deflators was about 5 psi off somehow. Need to do more testing, maybe i'll get them honed in one day.
