I have long suffered with the typical "Adult" size helmets that are a one size fits all. I've got a big head and have always found the typical size helmet to fit, but not well.

I appreciated that this helmet offered multiple sizes and guidance on head measurements. I confirmed from a measuring tape on my head that the XL size was my best option and that has proven to be the case. It sits comfortably on my head and provides good contact all over. Probably the best fit for a helmet I've ever had.

I must confess, I didn't buy this for the visor and it struck me as something of a gimmick. However, it's turned out to be one of my favorite features. It gives a clear, unobstructed view with coverage out to the edges of my peripheral vision. The magnetic quick connects make putting the visor on and off an easy task and the magnets hold firmly when I'm riding. I use this for a road bike where my cycling is rather smooth, so I can't say if this would hold tight if you are looking at something for mountain biking.

Overall, very pleased with this one.

I bought this after years of riding with a 25 yr old Bell helmet which had served me well over the years. I kept the bell helmet all those years because it worked well with a torch mounted to the center channel and I ride trails at night.. I am very pleased with the VICTGOAL helmet. It is light weight, fits well and works very well with a torch mounted to the top of the helmet using just a single piece of Velcro and some rubber pieces for aiming purposes. The rear light on my VICTGOAL helmet did not work. I took it apart because I thought I could fix it. This was a big mistake on my part. I could not get the light to work. Thankfully I got it back together so it would still adjust the helmet when needed. Regardless the rear light was not a major feature of the helmet for me anyway. I was able to use some Velcro and use one of my more powerful rear lights on the helmet. The removeable / magnetic eye protector is a very nice feature of this helmet. Great if you ride places where there are lots of flying gnats which tend to fly in swarms. That said the inside of the helmet includes a netting that will keep larger flying bugs from getting into your hair. For the price I paid for this helmet I feel it was a great bargain. One last note; while I like the eye shield, if the helmet is not tight enough on your head the lower part of the shield will sometimes contact the bridge of your nose. Not a big deal since you can re-adjust the helmet but wish the eye shield was a half inch shorter. I don't use the eye shield a whole lot but carry it with me in case it's a buggy ride. My helmet came with a darkened eye shield ( for day use ) I bought one of the clear eye shields but wish the seller would offer the buyer the option to buy with the clear shield.

This helmet is pretty good. I like the eye shield, helps alot. It runs a little small and the only thing I'd work on is that the shield pops off a little too easy. If you tap it hard enough it comes off. It is magnetic and holds well enough, but if you were to get into and accident or the shield gets tapped, then it would definitely pop off.

Overall I like it and would recommend.

I have a big noggin and this helmet finally fits like a helmet should! I love the magnetic eye shield. If you wear prescription glasses they'll work fine with the shield. Purchase an extra photochronic shield and use any day. The shield works great at keeping the cold air from making my eyes water. Even with a size 7 7/8 head, I can still wear a Bennie for cold weather.

Helmet arrived as shown and described. Fit is fine and the magnetic goggle works well. It would be nice if there was "on board storage" for the goggle when not in use. Compared with other more expensive helmets, this one is great. My bike has built in lights, so the helmet light was not a factor. It is a good addition for additional safety. It came with a battery loaded and a second one for backup. I chose the battery one over the rechargeable one simply because I would rather carry an extra battery than worry about charging it when camping. 5 stars overall.
