The swing base itself is a bit smaller than your typical swing seat, it is really hard, and the plastic looks likely to Crack with time.
However, the purchase was worth it. I know it won't last a lifetime, but I would purchase again.

This swing is made of a very sturdy plastic. They lasted about a year before being out in the weather and wear and tear caused them to crack. The lights are really pretty to watch on summer nights as my little ones swing on their play set. They have about another year before they outgrow it so I didn't hesitate to order replacements for the two we have that cracked.
