This was a great purchase.

Size does run a tad smaller than your true size. I ordered a size up and it fits perfectly. Going to wear to my Ottenheim 135 year anniversary German Swiss settlement.

I liked that the white blouse is a single piece connected to the rest of the dress. It made it really easy to wear, nothing shifted out of place while we were celebrating! The only downside to that is you have to wash the entire thing at once, making it impossible to bleach just the white blouse part.

I've had other dirndls from Germany (we lived there for a few years) where the white blouse is a separate piece. It is nice to be able to remove it and wash that piece or bleach it. But Personally, in spite of the hassle of having the entire thing dry cleaned at once, I found it more comfortable not having to worry about the two separate pieces shifting around and constantly adjusting my outfit.

The quality of the apron was the most impressive to me. It was a thicker satin fabric that ironed really well. I had bought a few others off Amazon that were a little bit cheaper, and the fabric was thin and a little bit stiff. I received many compliments on this dress to include people asking if this is the one that I bought in Germany. Little did they know that this is indeed one that I picked up on Amazon for a fraction of the price of my German-made dirndls!

Purchased for a Halloween party, but it is so well made that I will be wearing it to future October fest activities. I am 5'3" about 140ish lbs. 34D and I purchased a medium which fit me well. The dress hit me just below the knee. Received lots of compliments.

This costume was perfect for our oktoberfest party! My sister got the XL, which was too big for her because she's more of a L, but she made it work, my 10yr old daughter got the small, which was too big, and I got the medium, which fit perfectly! I say size up if you are between sizes because there is no stretch whatsoever. Overall, I was very happy with the quality and fit!
