To be perfectly honest, he was fascinated by the soccer ball, but not as much in getting the net together. Still, it is simple to do. He had other ideas though for the pipes. Sifting water through it, playing it like an instrument, pretending to be a Jedi with the poles. The net will be built at some point. But seeing his happiness in this light up, hovering ball, will only encourage fascination and delight of soccer in him. It makes a whirring sound that interests him and all the flashing lights excited him and brought smiles to his face. The fact that this product comes with a small inflatable soccer ball as well with pump is just an added pleasure. It means, whether charged or not, he will always get to have soccer time. Have to hover on flat surfaces though - not on concrete (for example).

Easy to put together. This thing moves back and forth easily. Very fun concept. The holes should be a bit bigger and the hand pump barely survived the pumping of both balls, but over all, it's fun!

So excited for our neighbors son to open this on Sunday for his birthday, he loves playing/kicking balls around outside so I know he will love this when he sees it. It's been raining a lot lately and been too hot to be outside so I wanted to get him something he can do indoors to burn some of that 4 year old energy and this turned out to be the perfect gift. As a result of Stay in Place order, I got a couple of indoor sports toys for my toddler. This toy kept my 2.5 year old entertained. A great intro to soccer. This thing is very lightweight. Assembly was easy and you don't need instructions. I appreciated how easy it was to put this together and the box have pictures for reference. It is easy to set up but with no instructions I has some challenges opening up the battery area initially (tip is to press down on that area after you remove the nail. It was nice they gave you a tool to unplug the nail). The suction to hold the goal didnt work with my wood floors well. We ultimately hacked it with some maskin tape (kinda ghetto). For the price, it was still a good bye.

I bought this for my 4 y/o who was very excited to open the box when it came. I liked how it came with 2 goals, two different types of soccer balls, and a mini pump. We've never seen a hover soccer ball before and we really enjoyed it. However, it can go underneath our dresser. We'll have to figure a way to block it, but we can still play with the inflated ball or play in a different section of our home. We've also tried it outside with the inflated soccer ball. It was a bit hard due to the wind, but would work fine if it wasn't windy.
My initial impression of it was not good. First, it seemed like a cheaply made product from China. Then, there were no instructions. I had trouble opening the battery section, but my husband had no problems with it. However, now that we've figured it out, it's really fun for my daughter and she's getting some exercise out of it.
