One of the best purchases I’ve ever made
Deborah✓ Verified Purchase•October 11, 2023
We just took it down for the season. It was much easier to do than I expected. It folded up nicely and back into the bag to store for the winter. We were actually able to enjoy our new patio furniture this summer without getting devoured by mosquitoes. Los Angeles has a huge mosquito problem now, and they are so tiny you can barely see them.
We got the 12x12, and it was perfect for two chairs, a loveseat, and our little fireplace! Not one bite. I chose this one because of the reviews of this one versus the other tents online. I can tell Alvantor has much better zippers, which is important because if the zipper breaks, it's useless, right? I was willing to pay a little more for something I can use far longer.
My only regret is not buying it sooner, but now I'm looking forward to next spring!
(Edited to say I just went back and read the one-star reviews and I find it hard to believe it's the same tent. We have had NO problems with it. Setting up was so simple, it basically popped itself up. And we had it up on some windy days (not huge gusts, but maybe 8-10 mph) and used bricks to tie down the strings since it's on a cement patio. Not a problem at all. And it seems really well made to me.)

I love this Screen House!!

I am loving my new screen house! I am a "bugaphobe" and will not camp or hang out in my yard because of bees, wasps and mosquitos. I set this house up in my back yard on top of the recommended 6x6 tarp and I feel like I am camping! I put two camp chairs, throw rugs and some solar lights inside and it is so enjoyable! Highly recommend - easy set up (watch out - the house REALLY wants to open up the first time it is released. It literally left my hands and landed about five feet away), good quality screens and high end zipper. The 6x6 option feels quite large on the inside. Very happy with this purchase! :)
Works very well for solo camping

I chose the smallest version of this pop-up screen tent for my solo camping and it worked pretty well for my last 2 trips: pretty light for its size; popping it up in seconds (though staking it down to the ground and securing it with the lines provided took more time of course), and that folding it back to its (larger) circle that fits the supplied carry bag was easily enough (particularly after watching the tutorial videos a few times). I even found a clip of a woman's being able to fold an older version of this tent to half the size of that per factory instructions, but that was with the help of another man. The large circle of tent when folded still fits into my small hatchback so I wouldn't mind that size. I could put 2 beach chairs and a wagon (as a table) inside the tent with space for a few small bags on the ground. About bugs, the tent is not fool-proof (I still found a few insects inside the tent after 2 days leaving it outside) but good enough for that purpose. The tent top is not waterproof but I added a tarp on top of it and it protected us from the rain. Also I placed a cheap tarp on the ground to reduce the chance of bugs entering into the tent. (Then it rained so the tarp collected water poodles. LOL.) When there was a gust of wind or two, the tent did tend to collapse to one side if not tied down. I haven't used the sand bags for more stabilization though. One necessary upgrade is that I bought a pack of 2 sun sails from the same brand later and hung them onto the tent walls to be able to sit in the glaring morning or afternoon sun. Otherwise, the tent would not provide much sun protection except during midday. (Perhaps a larger size would be better at sun protection.) The sails also helped when it rained on me as well.
Great for two or three to enjoy

Super quick and easy set up. I was not bothered by the shipping extra twisted assembly, and actually managed to pack it away again with that optional factory twist. It does open with some force when stored that way, but with warning/awareness it is manageable. I only wish the storage bag had a compact option. The bag is quite large when it is stored extra collapsed. I also liked the included adjustable strap to bind the folded/twisted up structure.
I didn't bother with staking it out, as the weather was calm. It was a great space to hang out with my wife while camping. Plenty of room for lounge chairs, a cooler and a small table. Could probably have fit one more person, but four would have been tight.
One of the standout features was the zipper and pulls. They were very smooth and easy to use. I was pleasantly surprised every time how easily I was able to open and close the door.
We did get some rain while we were out which pooled in the roof panel. It was simple enough to clear off, bending the wall poles a bit. As expected, the items inside were rather wet. Not a fault, as that isn't it's purpose but more a warning. It dried out quickly once the sun came back out.
Very happy with the purchase so far.

The 6’x6’ is a cute tent.

I like how clear the netting is, it's like there's no netting there.
It's easy to set up, I put it on the deck, although when it sorta self opened it took me by surprise and it jumped open on me.
A friend and I played scrabble in the tent. We set the chairs and table on the diagonal to fit it all in. Plus a small table for a lamp.
Two adults can fit in it but not big chairs. I would say it's more of a one person tent for lounging in or two kids, comfortably, two adults can fit but not with a huge chairs. Lucky I have a few different size chairs to choose from. Ideally I would have preferred a 7x7 or 8x8 size. It seems to be a quality product. There's not much mosquitoes now so the tent is in the garage, flat. I need to put it back in the bag it came in. I didn't need the stakes for when I had it on the deck. I had a spare tarp but if you don't have one there's a tarp accessory which I think would be nice since it's sized for the tent. The one I used was way bigger so I folded it up to fit which worked out fine.
