Very well made for it's price point

The guitar needs a setup right out of the box. You are going to have to file down the
saddle, which takes time. I broke the one that came with the guitar, and replaced it with one made of buffalo bone. If you are skilled at working on guitars, you might also want to file down the nut a bit. You will also have to adjust the truss rod a bit to lower the action.

The intonation is surprisingly exceptional, especially given how much you pay for the instrument. The strings are actually quite nice sounding.

I'm not too pleased with the feel fretboard though it is well made and the frets are of terrific quality. The neck width feels a little thin to me. But that's just my personal preference. Some people like it that way.

All in all a very good guitar.
Loud Clear Beautiful Voice From This Beautiful 3/4 Scale Guitar!

I am 5'1" with obviously small hands and own three Taylor GS Minis (23.5" scales) and a Fender Mustang 90 (24" scale). I love small scale guitars, which are tough to find, and decided, since I am interested in teaching myself fingerstyle, to take a chance on this instrument as it probably has about a 23" scale length, which I verified it does.
I couldn't wait to open the box and was totally delighted at the sheer quality the instrument has. It is absolutely beautiful, and one would think it cost a great deal more.
I tuned it up and played a few blues riffs and a bit of fingerstyle and was amazed at the projection and commanding "voice" this little guitar has! This is absolutely one of the biggest and best bargains I have ever gotten. It is easier to play fingerstyle on it as the strings are slightly further apart and you can get your right hand fingers onto the strings more easily without slipping off.

This is a beautiful first guitar for a young person just starting to learn and when I read through the reviews, I noted several other physically smaller adults had bought it for themselves. It is easier to get your right arm over and makes playing chords easier than a 24.75" or 25.5" scale. This price point for such a beautiful instrument is nothing short of amazing. Whether you are buying it for a child or for yourself, this is a value not to be missed. You won't be disappointed!
Superb quality for the price

Guitar came reasonably set up - and for a nylon string guitar you generally don't want super fast action in any case!

intonation was great, and the general set up of frets, fret smoothness/edges, and (lack of) neck bow was far better than I expected (I've seen worse in newly-shipped guitars at ten times the cost)

The tone is *decent*, and is absolutely fabulous for the price (it's not as rounded as the best classical guitars, but duh - it's $130 WITH a gig bag! It's easily a $20 gig bag, so $110 for the guitar!)

This is not a *beginner* guitar, it's a *workmanlike* guitar. It is sufficiently good for me to rely on for my continuing (re)education in classical guitar (after playing jazz, folk, blues, and rock for almost 50 years) and I get absolutely no sense that I'll want to replace it in a few months or years...

All in all - it is astonishing.

In comparison - I used to have a cheap "thrash guitar" I picked up for playing while I was long term on a project far from home -- I'd travel with clothes, but I wasn't trusting a decent instrument to airline baggage handling! That cheap thrash guitar cost about the same as this -- or a little more when considering inflation - and that guitar was really trash. good enough to give me a surface on which to maintain some chops... but I simply left it behind at the end of that project. It wasn't worth keeping... THIS guitar I would keep.
Amazing value!

Right out of the box this guitar is ready to play. The action height was set perfect already, the strings that it comes with are silky smooth and easy on the fingers, which is good for a beginner. The guitar itself is beautifully made. The neck is straight and has binding all the way around that basically eliminates all rough frets and makes the guitar very comfortable and easy to enjoy.
The tuners seem to be good quality, making it easy to tune the guitar and make precise adjustments.

Overall, a guitar of this construction and quality I would honestly expect to play double or triple this price.

Hola guitars seems to sincerely care about quality and being able to connect (aspiring) musicians with amazing instruments to help talents blossom. Consider me a customer for life. Thank you Hola guitars!!
Truss rod not working.

Beautiful little guitar. The only issue is the truss rod, not working but it's no big deal.
