I wasn't to happy about the price but the seller sent the kit with the cutting guide too. It too me a while to save up and get it. Either way I could not find a better foam cutter on the market so far that does what this foam cutter dose. The Item works great and very easy to use. I like how you can bend the blade to make v cuts or make square cut or what ever pattern you want. Either way great for hobby projects and construction uses. I would also recommend getting extra blades for the item too!

A must for busy business

We have tried many rod sticks to cut styrofoam, but this cutting blade is a must for a business. Waste of money and time with those rod sticks, they break fast too.
This blade is long which allows us to cut thicker styrofoam, heats fast and we get results in a much faster time. Without turning it on I was able to cut styrofoam with cold blade which I thought was amazing.
No need to plugin and click on the button - it turns off and on by pressing on the button and holding while you cut.
I have been pretty happy. We are a busy business and it make a huge difference. I 'm going to purchase a new blade 2 months after the original purchase, as it heats us with delay now, because of residue on the blade. I tried to clean the residue but it's not heating up as fast (takes about 5 sec to heat up), so hopefully with a new blade, it will be in super-fast action again.
advise, don't press on the blade too hard, let it heat up. I deformed my with being not patient, so I will be getting a new one for that reason too.
