had it game ready within 3 days, completely broken in by the 2nd game (week total). Very high quality, not as high as the A2K, obviously, but I feel it was better than the Rawlings HOH IMHO. If you want a simple, and easy way to break it in very quickly, watch Aso, the Glove Guru's break in method, and it will be ready in no time. I did it twice, with spending 20-30 minutes pounding a way at it, used a traditional rubber mallet on Saturday, ready to use by Tuesday.

This is a pro level adult glove, however, I bought it for my 9yo son after he used someone else's and loved it. As others have mentioned, this glove is not going to make your kid a better player. But this *is* a glove that will last and hold up for years to come. Infielders prefer a smaller glove/pocket, but it works great for younger kids too. The Pedroia fit is tighter as well. I think that's why some people think this is a youth glove. It's not, it just fits better for those with smaller hands. This is not our first Wilson (have used everything from the A800/A900, A2000, and A2K), but it is our first SuperSkin glove. I went with this to allow it to be easier to break in and use by my son. Now that I have it, I'm liking the feel of the glove and think that it will hold up just as well (or longer) than traditional leather. We're still breaking it in, but my son can already catch grounders, line drives, and pop flys with it. Still not game ready, but enough to make a recommendation that this is an awesome glove. I will provide an update if anything changes.

There are a few versions of this glove listed here. This review is for the A2000 1788 SuperSkin 11.25" Infield version. The price seemed too good to be true, but I was hoping it was because they were trying to unload some old stock. Unfortunately it seems my concerns were valid, as this appears to be a "blemish" stock of the glove. There is a large oil stain in the palm of the glove. This does not compromise the functionality or integrity of the glove, but this is something that should be stated in the description. Amazon is sending me a replacement and assured me that they will check it to confirm it is new and as advertised. I will update my review once I get the replacement, but wanted to put this out there for anyone to be aware that it may not be what you expect.

10/10 product, I love this glove and it hasn't failed me yet!

My son really enjoys this glove. He pitches and can use it when playing shortstop. It takes a little (not much) breaking in, but that's expected. Looks great and he enjoys playing with it.
