could NOT get a leak proof seal using the upper gasket

Good quality, could NOT get a leak proof seal using the upper gasket, had to take it back apart and seal with plumbers putty.
5 stars only if you know what you're doing

I installed 5 of those in different colors. For this price, they look and function great. I cannot comment on the quality and how long the metal will keep its finish. Make sure to follow instructions. A few points to be aware of:
- if you use the rubber seal in your sink, there will be a 0.5mm ledge where water will always puddle because of the thickness of the seal. Better to use plumbers putty (on the very top which you see every day)
- it has an odd design with a 2 piece tail pipe at the bottom, metal to metal tread. You need plumbers tape there as mentioned in the instructions, otherwise 99% will leak
- yes, the stopper rod may be long for some, but didn't create an issue for me. you can always saw it
Brushed nickel color may not be a one to one match with your faucet. I think it is more shiny like stainless.
