The liquid is not oily, which is great for plastic /rubber fittings so it won't degrade them & make them soft if sprayed over them, It has a pleasant smell, If it is used on exterior components, the rain can wash it off & onto paint areas, not hard to clean, but easily seen. It will give the plastic components a nice look almost like new, and if it doesn't rain the longer it sticks to those parts the better it looks, I've done several coates and it gets better looking after some applications.
