Incredibly Compact

I bought this chair primarily because I act as a course marshall for my kids Mountain Bike races. This requires me to ride several miles out onto a course and then sit there for 4-5 hours to help monitor the athletes as they pass by. In previous years I used a "normal" folding chair and it was super awkward to ride it out onto the course. The Cliq chair folds up so tiny that I can easily stick it inside my Camelbak and light enough that I hardly notice the extra weight while riding.
I'm a big guy (near the limit of the chair) and the chair feels pretty sturdy beneath me. I wouldn't jump up and down on it, but I'm not worried about it collapsing. The comfort is reasonable for such a small chair. I think that the higher back version might be a bit more comfortable, but I'm happy to have the smaller size. I'm giving this chair 5 stars because it perfectly solved the problem that I had.

Why didn't I think of this before someone else. We have a winner here!!! Small some what lite weight. Easy to carry. Easy to open in 8 seconds! Comfort is most important in a compact chair like this. If your hiking, camping, at the racetrack or even in your backyard!! This chair is for you!! It's a little intimidating at first (because of size) is this going to hold me up? You betcha! They say 300 lbs. I believe that. I bought just one . I will be buying 2 more. I was Leary at first in buying it. What's 100 dollars I said . Best 100 dollars I've ever spent! Take my word for it ! Put your fanny in this set .you will say the same thing. Fantastic quality. Rugged construction. Aluminum frame is strong and has been power coated. Again you can't go wrong with this chair.!! Buy it!!!!

I loved the size and ease of the folded chair, sadly the chair is not very to be comfortable for a 5'11" person. Leaning back has little support. Simple to open and close and seems sturdy. The company is very responsive and friendly.
Sturdy and Portable, Not Terribly Comfortable

Bought this chair for motorcycle camping trips. After several trips relying on camp site picnic tables for seating, I needed something a little better on those long trips.
Overall, this thing is great in terms of portability, durability, and sturdiness. The chair is built rock solid, but is still easy to set up and take down. With the exception of the back extensions being slightly stiff due to being new, this thing requires very little effort to deploy.
Where this chair suffers a bit is in the comfort department. The seat is a bit more of a bowl than I expected, resulting in a constantly 10-15 degree reclined seating position when in use. This position puts a little more tension on the lower back, which after a long day on the road isn't ideal. Even with the back extensions out to try to define the back more, the chair still comes off as more reclined than it should be. One option may be to use a pillow to try and rectify this, and it's on my list to try on my next trip.

I have the original Helinox chair and I love it. Its a great travel chair and it fits in my backpack. I decided to try the Cliq chair because it was easy to set up and put away.
The Cliq chair just flips open and you just slide out the metal pieces to extend and snap the chair in place. Easy! Its easy to put away too and there is a strap that will keep the chair together to stow away. It fits in a backpack too. I find that there is no need for me to get the extra carry bag which can be bought separately.
Compared to the Helinox chair, it is a little more heavier to carry around all day. It would be great if it was made of the light weight metal like the Helinox. It also sits a just little higher than the Helinox which I prefer and it is as sturdy as the Helinox.
I use the portable chairs for events like the San Diego Comic Con where you wait in line alot and having a comfortable chair is well worth it. I love the fact that the Cliq chair is a single unit that is easier to set up and put away for those times you need to get up and go. Again, I just wish it was as light as the Helinox.
