Overall, it's a cute and comfortable skirt. I bought this to power walk/run in. The material is a little heavier than what I imagined but it lays nicely. I think I was imagining more like Lycra and less polyester. One thing that I really like is the waist band doesn't move. That's always a negative for leggings; having to constantly pull up the waistband during workouts. It's also a very comfortable waistband and flattering. The pockets are great for a larger phone. When I first put it on and walked around the house I was very hopeful because the mesh shorts didn't ride up. However, once I got out for my workout, they did creep up some, but not all the way into my crotch. Luckily I applied power glide on my thighs as a "˜just in case' so it wasn't a big deal. I'm 5ft1 and 135 lbs., usually a larger size 6. I ordered the medium and it fits well. I don't think I could have gone to a small but I do have a little wiggle room in the medium. I can't stand tight, tight clothing though so the medium works great for me. The length is appropriate for me, around mid-thigh. It may be a little longer than I imagined but I am short.

I have a 27in waist and a 35in hip. I got the small because the skirt does have a little stretch to it. I'm really glad I got the small because it fits perfectly. I think I should have bought the medium because the pattern of the stars is just a little stretched but it's not all that bad. If your waist is a little over 27in and you are considering a small, I'd get the medium if you want to preserve the pattern. The skirt is overall flattering and my phone fits in the ball pocket. It does flare out a bit when the phone is in but honestly, you cab barely notice it.
