I'm a female with very dark, coarse leg hair that grows very fast. Shaving with a normal 5 or 6 blade razor tends to take quite awhile as the blades are constantly getting clogged. I decided to get an electric razor and I'm really glad I went with this one. It cut through my dense, overgrown hair pretty quickly and it also gave me an incredibly close shave for an electric razor. I was really impressed. After I had finished shaving and ran my hand over my leg, I didn't feel stubble - it felt smooth! I don't think it is quite as close as a standard razor but it is so helpful and time saving for someone like me. Unfortunately for me given that I have very dark hair and very pale skin, you will always be able to see the hair plugs in my skin that the razor obviously can't get to, but again it does feel like a very smooth shave and non-prickly shave. I love the shape of the razor as it is easy to hold and use and I typically pass over in circular motions. It holds a good charge and I haven't had it run out doing both legs and arms. It also catches quite a bit of hair but I still only shave in the bathroom/tub to clean up whatever it doesn't catch. The only thing that confused me was how to open the four heads of the razor as I've never had one like this but once I figured it out it was very easy - you open them from the inner/inside or middle instead of from the outside, each flips open towards the outside and then you can clean the heads out.

This razor gives a nice clean cut! I was really surprise how close of a shave!

I've been shaving for 50 years so I feel qualified to give an expert assessment, albeit a subjective one

Pros:
1. The packaging was first class...like when you buy a high end cell phone. This gives me confidence in the actual shaver
2. Great that it came with several interchangeable attachments.
3. Love the ergonomically designed body.
4. Easy to clean.
5. Decent run time. I only recharge twice a month at most.
6. Nice and compact for travel.

Cons:
1. The proprietary charging port essentially defeats the "convenience" of USB charging because you MUST use their specific cable...so no "standard" USB cable will work ...which is a bummer because if you forget to bring it on vacation, you're screwed. Would be great if it was standard because then you could pick one up almost anywhere or maybe use your phone charger.
2.Compared to the Remington triple head rotary razor this replaces, it is not nearly as good of a shave. I do get a clean shave though, but it requires many passes. It reminds me of using a palm sander with fine paper on rough wood. It'll work but it takes time.
3. My son tried this and hated it because it pulled his facial hair.
4. It does have a charge indicator LED but would be very helpful if it had a countdown display of some kind so you'd have a heads up on remaining battery life.

I'll probably order something better soon but will keep this as a spare. At this price I didn't expect an outstanding product and in THAT regard I wasn't disappointed. An expensive shaver that performs like this would have only gotten 2 or maybe 3 stars.

The men's grooming razor market is a joke. Charging issues, weak, delicate parts. Stop wasting time and money looking and hoping they sort of work.
This is a perfect electric razor for men and women. The charge lasts me months, only ever had to charge it once, all the attachments are well made and very sharp, the main five rotating razor attachment has stayed extremely sharp and clean and very close shaves for the last seven months that I've almost daily used it (more reliable than my harry's razor heads, which gum up so fast and all come with the unnecessary lotion tab and are pretty expensive over time to replace), lots of great attachments, especially the nose hair trimmer, exfoliator, and the perfect clippers attachments. Very easy to clean, plus?

It's only 25 bucks.

Ease of use. This is my second one, the first lasted about two years. But it's from China like everything else.
