cute and functional

I needed a watering can, and chose this one for its vintage look. When not in use, it sits within my deck decor (see photo) and looks great. It is completely functional, lightweight and easy to carry when full of water. Perfect find for me.
One gallon is small

I love the galvanized can but expected different colored handles. Also should have gotten a two gallon.
Handy

I wanted a watering can that was smaller in size and easy to use. I love that this looks nice as well. The spout screws off easily. I would buy this again
Smaller than you might think

Description of this watering can is accurate; looking at the can itself, it seems smaller than a one gallon milk jug, which is what my mind used to compare its size to.
It arrives with the nozzle unattached to the spout, so be aware that you have to thread it on carefully so it will tighten as needed. It took me a bit to get it straight and I used some plumber tape around the threaded end of the spout to help achieve a non drip connection.
If you only have a few potted plants/flowers to water this will do the job, however, if like me, you have multiple containers (rectangular deck railing planters, large patio, porch and deck outdoor vases/urns, herb pots, etc.) you will most likely want something of a two gallon size.
I did read other comments left by buyers and did not use the support rod between the spout and the can to hold onto to. It is "welded" to the body not riveted and lifting a filled can would quickly break this part of the can.
The can is not heavy duty like my old galvanized one (over 25 years old and just developed a tiny hole in the bottom of the can) so I can't see that it will last as long as my old one did.
This small watering can is perfect for an apartment with minimal outdoor plants to water, or for indoor use.

Nice and sturdy; minor balance issue

A beautiful and simple watering can. Almost perfect; the one issue is the balance is off when you lift up the can using the top handle. When you lift it by the top handle, the can leans forward/down (toward the spout opening), so when the can is filled with water and you hold it with the top handle, water splashes out of the opening. Therefore when it's filled with water, you have to use either the side handle or both handles together to overcome the balance issue
