I built this early for Xmas to get it out of the way. Spent $41 brand new. Originally was supposed to be almost double that. These definitely aren't made like they used to be when I was a kid. Like most things now, the quality has changed. I bought this and the double sided beach themed house for under $100 together. Take your time while screwing each piece to avoid any damage. Losen surrounding screws if something isn't fitting right and then go back after and tighten. It does feel sturdy and was pretty simple to assemble. I would say $41 is a fair price and would absolutely recommend this house. Will fit barbie dolls

Great little doll house my 3 year old daughter loves it. But the sticker backgrounds tear and peel very easily I don't expect this to last too long. The frame itself is sturdy for mild play. Don't need to be delicate or anything. Overall happy but quality is whatever.

1.) When I purchased no previous reviews incl. pictures which is why I felt it necessary to do so many. Overall, took less than an hour to assemble. Decor is mid-century modern style and price point is great. The back is completely white so be aware of that, but a wall mount is included to hang it if preferred. 2.) Ships flat packed, with simple labels for manual and hardware. 3.) Listing says for 12 inch dolls, which is the size mine are, but I decided to do plush instead (which are a little wider) and I think Barbie type dolls would fit just fine. 4.) Didn't like the company logo on the roof, so I flipped it upside down (which covered it by the underwalls) and I think it looks great. 5.) Accessories. Dollhouse comes with the 10 pieces shown in the pictures. All the furniture is easy to put together (table & bed) and very good quality. I think that the felt plant and deck chair are also a super sweet touch. 6.) Embellishments. I purchased the "deck" (4 pallets) at the Dollar Tree, the orange tree at Target (sale for 50 cents!), and the 3 white potted plants from IKEA (set of 3 for $4.99). I also purchased a 5ft LED fairy light string for $9.89 at Michael's (sale %40 off) to string from each ceiling. Upon opening box. One of the pieces were broken. It was the couch. It can be glued/salvaged. But still came broken. My OCD husband, says the pieces don't line up and its cheaply made. Instructions say 3 hours to build. I'm hoping it will provide years of entertainment for a very fun 3 yr old. It looks adorable.

I have purchased several of these doll houses over the years, from KidKraft, and many other things like play kitchens and such. This was easy enough to put together, although it's annoying that the instructions don't have words. Some of the holes didn't line up perfectly, but the designs are cute and my 3 year old love it. I would buy it again, but I do think that they are starting to skimp on the quality that had me buying their products over and over.
