The Pom Poms are not like cheerleading ones but they look in pictures facing front on. They are not full, you kinda have to really fluff them out for them to look good. However they don't cover your hands and the handle is exposed. I think they are good for a costume but I feel like they might be uncomfortable or not the best for actual legit cheerleading.
