I was impressed that the screen didn't compress when applying siding over it. This also had good pathways for air movement, and for water to move out.
Great product!!

I live in northern Maine and needed to redo some stucco covering some insulation on my exposed footings. The code up here is to apply two weeping systems, so I placed some weeping barrier tyvex behind the 2" foam and this product on the outside of the foam boards, with the wire lathe on top. It was easy to apply and easy to cut. It appears to work well. (Only time will tell how it holds up, however.) Bear in mind that you should install with a drip edge above and a sill edge (probably the incorrect term) below to discourage critters. As my foam extends below ground, though, I just installed the drip edge above. You will need at least 6" of flashing to bend your drip edge if you want to ensure that your flashing is secure below your siding. (I have vinyl.) The bottom of the mortairvent has a 2.5" flap of the backing material that is supposed to go onto the base flashing, which is great for pest blocking. I'd use this stuff again.
