I hated that every time I used my camera I had no idea where I put my lens cap. I would usually find it in a pocket somewhere but it was always annoying that I would look for 5 minutes, in my pockets, camera bag, backpack, pockets in the camera bag, pockets in the backpack. With this the lenscap was right there and it did not interfere with the camera in any way. After so many years I small glad I picked this up. I bought these as replacement/spare caps for my Sony Alpha 6000 DSLR camera with interchangeable lenses. It's a bit difficult to get the lens cap to adhere to the lens; it doesn't adhere as easily as the original Sony lens cap. But once on, it stays. I like the elastic cord feature. Hopefully no more lost lens caps. Good value for the money. Would recommend.
