For the price this is a good case. However, when I read "hard case" I expected a fully hard case. I would describe this more like a rigid case. The case is easily flexed, but for the price you can expect only so much. Sufficient padding to protect the projector but I would not expect it to protect it from a 4' fall.

If you have the Nebula projector this carrying case helps alot. But if you have the new capsule 3 it will not fit well.

I was thinking on this one hard before I bought it, have read that it doesn't fit but I'm guessing the buyer clicked on the wrong one because it has for the laser 3 an the anker 2 so I made sure I got it for the laser 3 an it fits perfectly an my air pods fits in it too, so make sure you click on the right one before you buy it. Only thing is that it has a funky smell lol but yea jus spray it with perfume or something that smells good an problem solved. An I made a screen with the back of a pizza dinner box lol an I had a poster I just cut it the size of the dinner box an boom, I have a screen for it..

Case is formed and sturdy. If you want a hardcase, spend the extra money. This case is perfect for the price and the right amount of protection. Fits all accessories nicely. Excuse the plastic on the lens- I kept it on for protection. I would have like to see an extra foam pad/sheet to put right on top of the projector / charger / and remote to keep it really secure. I'll add my own. I just turn the lens toward the bottom so it has no chanced of being damage by anything in the pocket. I only keep the cable in that part. Nice case and does the job well.
