Picked up some Blink Outdoor cameras on Prime Day and while I know it comes with standard mounting hardware, where I wanted to place my cameras required a little different approach. So, I decided to try the gutter mounts. Installation was straightforward.
Take out the rubber grommet on the back of the camera and pop in the mount adapter. That was a little difficult becuase it requires a bit of pressure and the plastic housing of the camera isn't very thick and bends easily. Nonetheless, once that is on, screw it onto the swivel mount and tighten and adjust to your liking. The mount base itself secures to the gutter using two long wingnut bolts and does a good job securing it place. The only thing I don't like about the mount is that it doesn't tighten the camera to the point it doesn't move. The camera itself can be too easily moved, even though I've tightened everything properly. The position of the mount doesn't move, just the camera itself, but it hasn't moved yet thankfully. A good strong gust of wind could change that though.
A good gutter mount option, but I think eventually I am going to change it up to something that secures a bit better and possibly something that gives me the option to get the cameras out of direct sunlight.

These do exactly what there intended for. They were easy to install. I did end up removing them due to reading more about the outdoor blink cameras - they are not weather proof, only resistant. Unfortunately for me the only way I can use these is on my gutter and not under as of current. That would cause the cameras to be exposed to elements. Still keeping these for future use if needed"¦ just remember cameras are not weather proof!
