These are my sixth pair of Hey Dude shoes. They are comfortable and very light weight.
I recently had a bad case of gout. If you have had gout you know how painful it is. After the initial pain subsided a little, I found that my Hey dude shoes were the only thing I could wear. There wasn't a chance of regular shoes or flip flops or slippers going on that foot. Hey Dudes made it possible for me to get around without being relegated to just a silly looking sock or bare foot.
Every pair I have is stylish, and I even wear some of them to work.
I will definitely buy more and am I constantly telling all of my friends about them

Bought these for my husband for Father's Day, this year. He's a shoe fanatic. (Jordan's/Nikes)
And he loves his Hey Dudes. He says for around the house and errands, they're perfect. He says they start to hurt after about 6 hours of wearing them which I would say is not too different from his Jordan's. He tends to wear his air max's a bit longer before complaining about aching feet. He's a 13 and they initially fit snug but didn't take long to break in.

When this brand of shoe first came out, I thought it was a passing fad that would run its course. A couple of years later, I was amazed, they're still around and getting more and more popular.

When I showed them to my husband, he seemed adamantly against trying a pair. A couple of months later he noticed more and more people wearing them, he would ask about them and get their feedback. He decided he would like to try a pair for himself.

I found these on Amazon in his size & at a bargain price. He tried them, and he has barely taken them off since!

He absolutely loves them. He says they're so lightweight. They feel like house slippers that you can wear anywhere!

You can dress them up or dress them down. They look good with khaki slacks and good with swimming trunks - however you wear them, all the time they feel good!

My husband is a hard worker and he is on his feet a lot. I'm so happy we found a pair of shoes that are this comfortable for him. He's a fan! We even wound up getting a second pair for him.

I got my shoes in last night & while I am working from home today, I threw them on to get a feel of what they would be like on a daily basis. The fabric is nice, soft & lightweight, & the soles are lightweight as well. Barely feels like I have anything on. I won't be going into the office for a while (lots of my team is on vacation) but I will wear these out wherever I can. But early impressions are REALLY good ! Will update if anything changes ...

UPDATE: Wanted to let you know that after wearing these to the office on several occasions, I am even happier with my purchase. After a full 9 hour day along with a 30 minute commute each way, my feet were hurting when I wore any other shoes. But when I started wearing these I barely noticed them and my feet were just as comfy by the time I got home. Will definitely get another pair for daily use.

I've purchased two pair of these in a row.

The cons: They not exactly tough--at least, not this version. The fabric on the first pair developed a tear within 3 or 4 months. The shoes are short. Your toes will touch the end of the toe box, if you purchase your usual size. If you size up, they will likely feel a bit sloppy. Though they are machine washable, the insoles are not, and they're the component most likely to need washing for any reason other than appearance. Memory foam breaks down pretty quickly. They'll feel cushy until you get a few miles on them. Then they'll feel flat.

The Pros: I began this review by saying I've purchased two pair in a row. They look cool. They feel cool. Once you adjust to the feeling of the short toe box, you'll realize the shoe doesn't put pressure on your toes. They're lightweight. They're versatile, both in application and in appearance. They look great with casual shorts or dressier chinos. They're easy to get on and off in a hurry. They're comfortable and attractive with or without socks. They're washable (except for the insole, as mentioned). They fill much the same niche as a boat shoe, minus the cost and weight, with more variations available. Would I buy them again? Yes---as long as they're on sale. ;-)
