The instructions are simple and superb! This is a fine, and fun simple device to work with paracord. I'm certain my Boy Scouts will have a great time with it. When I purchased this, I went by the measurements in the photos. My plan was to move my allergy tag to a paracord bracelet, because finding an allergy bracelet for an 11.5-12" wrist is next to impossible.
Okay, so I started practicing. Having made bracelets in the past (lost the jig), I wanted to make sure I did it right. I set it for 11.5", no glory, way too tight. Unravel, retry. I set it for 12", and again no glory, still way too tight. I broke out my tape measure and measured. At 12" the bracelets were coming out consistently at just a hair over 10". I moved the bold hole back as far as I could. Just under 11". Finally in looking at it, I opted to move the mounts from the tops to the ends, having just the buckle laying flat on top. First bracelet too big. Glory found. If I can make one too big, I can play around and find out the sweet spot to make one the right size.
For as cheap as it is? I do not feel as if I am out anything. Modifying it? Slightly annoying. Finally getting the correct size bracelet, is the only reason it got any stars at all.
If you have small wrists. go for it. If you have exceptionally large wrists? Be ready to modify and make it work or build your own.
