lightweight, comfy, beautiful towel

I bought this towel specifically for a beach trip. It rolled up small to fit into my carry-on luggage. The towel looks beautiful up close and appears to be high quality fabric and construction. I washed it twice immediately and there was no loose threads or premature wearing.
I used this to just lay down on the beach, didnt get a chance to test out how well it absorbs water.
This towel is thinner than what I was expecting, but I needed a towel that would roll up small, so this worked out perfect.
I actually have it hanging up on a wall right now as a faux tapestry in my temporary home office.
The towel is textured slightly, but it's not a thick texture, which is what I was expecting. But again, since this is more of a lightweight towel, I guess that makes sense.
Overall, this towel was what I needed and am enjoying it.

The packaging was terrible and extremely frustrating. It came in plastic packaging with all their sucked out of it squished to th size of a small basketball so that the robe looked lower had the wrinkles pressed into the fabric. This was a gift & I was afraid the wrinkles would never come out. So I sent it back

I ordered two different "Turkish Towels" and this one was by far the better one. It feels like a blanket when dry and has good absorbency too.
I have washed and dried it twice now and it seems to hold up. I add some vinegar as in the fabric softener compartment to keep it soft.
I have used it once at the gym and once at home to dry off after a shower. It gets me very dry and does not stay wet for a long time after. The only slight downside is that it's a bit see through, so when I walked from the shower to the locker I made sure to put some undergarments on first.
I added pictures with a tape measure to show the length. I also added some photos of the dimensions I got it to rolled up (and secured with a rubber band). Finally, there is a picture for color comparison with a pink chewable Pepto.
