I ordered these for a wedding favor. The flower print was and not as bright as the image when I ordered but I was happy about that. They were typical size for tea cup and I place little packed he's of candy almonds inside. Everyone loved them and some people were using them for coffee and tea at the function. I haven't used them yet so I can't tell about sturdiness or chip-resistant yet but they were packed extremely well and nothing was damaged in shipping. Be careful taking out of the box not to pull the handle as it's a tight fit in the foam box (good for safe shipping) but a bit hard to get out. I would buy again and recommend to friends.

EDIT: I finally got to use my cup for coffee. These are PERFECT. The handle is big enough for 2 fingers. It holds about 7 oz. Its the perfect size if you only want to have a little bit of coffee in the mornings. And they are SO PRETTY !!!
