I bought this recovery suit for a more comfortable option for my pup after her spay, and it's been great! She is able to move freely and lay comfortably. We are on post op day four as I'm writing this review, and have had no issues thus far. One thing that made me like this suit even further was that she is able to go potty without me having to take her back legs out. It's a great feature since most others I've seen, you have to roll the suit up halfway just so they go outside. It also comes in a Christmas pattern as I had to buy since we are in the month of December. I also bought a grey one as a backup, but haven't had to dive into that one as of yet. I'd highly recommend especially if your dog is not a fan of cones like mine.

This product is very well made and is easy to put on and off. It protects any stitches on the dogs belly and does not interfere with the dog's elimination. It provides a wonderful alternative to a cone after a dog has surgery.

My Yorkie was recently neutered and wouldn't tolerate a cone, so I ordered an inflatable pillow cone, which was worthless, he pulled it off immediately. My vet suggested a 'surgical onesie' or pajamas. I ordered this to keep him from licking/chewing his sutures. It is PERFECT. I could not be happier.
I measured him, the measurements are perfect. It's lightweight and exceptionally soft. There's a stitched area so I can cut a hole where he needs it for him to urinate through, although he's a 'belly band' boy, so this just goes over his belly band. It's so lightweight and comfortable, he doesn't notice it. I'm ordering a smaller size one for my female, just so we have it on hand.

I bought the XXL for my 77 pound female Akita. Worked great and kept her from getting to her stitches while allowing her to potty and go about her activities with no modifications needed. She didn't mind wearing it. Only wish it was a little more waterproof. Soaks up water and takes forever to dry. Other than that it has been great.
