Was the best outside lights that you can get for that price.

These are great looking light fixtures and we're very happy with them with one exception that will affect some of you. The round base that attaches to the wall is not quite big enough to fit over some round electrical boxes. In my case 2 different brands of boxes that are the type you push through a 3-1/2 inch hole from the outside are not a good match for this fixture. The combo of a too-small base and the push-through style electrical box creates a gap between the wall and the fixture where rain and bugs can easily enter. Not only that, part of the electrical box remains visible. The best solution would be for the manufacturer to make the base about 1/4 inch bigger in diameter, or you can get out your Dremel tool and trim off bits of the electrical box to get a flush fit.

I recently had my cedar-siding home re-stained and painted. The fixtures that were installed has begun to rust and just look dingy. I wanted something new that would compliment the new look of my home. I purchased 4 of these for different lights near doors. These fixtures are modern and very nice. They were inexpensive and very easy to install.

Replaced a builder-installed fixture with this MICSIU Outdoor Wall Lantern. I like the way it looks and it was easy to install (even though the instructions are not easy to follow.
This may help:
Test fit the stud screws on the bracket to the holes in the fixture. Mine was preset from the factory. You may have to adjust the length of the stud screws depending on your installation.
0) Turn off breaker to fixture and remove existing fixture. CONFIRM that power is off.
1) Install the bracket. The mounting bracket was identical to the old fixture but I replaced it anyway. I re-used the screws that connect the bracket to the electrical box.
2) Connect wiring. White, black, ground. Wire nuts are included. Tip: use the bare copper ground wire & wrap it around the bracket to hold the fixture while you attach the black and white wires.
3) Align the holes on the face of the fixture with the stud screws projecting from the bracket. You only need 1/8 to 1/4" protruding through the face of the fixture. Attach the decorative nuts to the stud screws and finger tighten.
4) Use a level under the top to adjust the fixture. Tighten decorative nuts.
5) remove large plastic net around lamp base. Place metal frame over glass cylinder and lift smaller opening over lamp base, passing lamp base through opening. Center the frame and cylinder and reattach large holes plastic nut - this holds the glass and frame in place.
6) Screw lightbulb into base.
7) Turn breaker on, turn on switch and marvel at your work. You may want to seal around the fixture and wall with appropriate caulk (I will use clear silicone).

Lights were installed by a professional. They look really nice on our house. Very pleased with this purchase.
