Being a hobby TIG welder I would use a benchtop grinder and a drill to sharpen the tungsten welding tips. It was messy and just did an okay job. I would have loved a professional sharpener but they are hundreds of dollars. I came across this and realized I had a Dremel lying around not getting much use so I decided to give it a shot. I'm so glad I did. I paid about $60 for it and it works like a charm. It's very convenient and a bargain compared to other options. The quality is very good. I used it today and had some of the cleanest welds I have had in a long time.
Seems to work well, consistent fast grinding.

Fit right on my Milwaukee tool. Nice looking quality. It will probably outlive me.
Not bad, but not as durable as I had hoped

I've sharpened about 10 tungsten pieces, and the diamond wheel is already wearing down. And I'm very gentle with my touch, trying to not put too much pressure on the wheel. I've actually started doing the course grinding on my bench grinder, and just using this to do the finishing on the tips, as that seems to be easier on it. Overall, it's somewhat worth the price, but when I wears out I'll likely just go back to doing it on my bench grinder.
Good, but Overpriced

You know an item is overpriced when it comes with a ridiculous storage/carry pouch.
