I had bought a new computer chair, which appears to be very sturdy but is in fact, uncomfortable. I have a lower back problem like lots of folks my age, and this cushion offers support my new chair didn't provide. I know it's a seat cushion, but if you take the pressure off the lower spine, you've helped your back. The cost is reasonable also. You won't be sorry you bought this.
Fit well but difficult to buckle under seat.

This seems to be quite well-made and thick, but despite what others said here, I couldn't feel my electronic seat warmer through this so I had to return it. I could feel one of the seams through it too that was uncomfortable. But I will say it installs easily and stays in place. Just wasn't the right thing for my Jeep...

I have an Audi S5 (last year of the V8), and I love the vehicle, but the seats in it have lower side bolsters that are just a bit too intrusive on the back of my thighs. It's not the car make/model in particular, for I had a sporty Acura years ago with lower side bolsters that had the same irritating effect on the back of my leg. I can feel the metal under the padding in the lower side bolsters, so the foam may just be crushing out a bit. Either way, it just causes and aggravating pressure point that bugs me. I wanted a seat cushion that would alleviate it, but not make me sit taller, for I'm 6'2" and come close to touching the ceiling in my car... so I was looking for a low profile cushion, and this seemed like a good fit. When I got the cushion, it seemed a bit thin, but turned out to be just right in thickness. I centered it in the seat, and it kind of helped. But then I moved it off to the side a little bit, and it helped more. Then I rolled down the outer edge of the cushion over just a bit and tucked it down in to the lateral bolster fold of the seat, and that little bend and tuck of this cushion smoothed away the irritation completely!! Now, using this cushion a little offset and tucked into the seamed edge of the bolster makes the perfect fit... super comfy... I love every bit of my S5 again!
