To moms Car seats are expensive but I've notice that I end up buying attachments that add. At this point it's better if you buy a better brand in a car seat instead of adding attachments to a basic car seat. You end up spending about the same overtime.

Have a new born. The car seat is a little bit big for now. The insert makes her more comfortable and stabilizes her head so she doesn't slide around in the car seat. Makes the car seat fit her better. Safer for her also.

This is really nice and comfortable. My baby was born at 8 lbs and fit well leaving the hospital. By 1 week we needed to take off the smaller hearrest piece. Within the first month we notices her outgrowing this. By 2 months it was time to replace it with something bigger because it is not adjustable.
