Worked like it should,and it saved me from buying a new motorcycle seat

Easy to use and it worked great. Recommend for small slits or holes.

This product is so good that now I am using it to reinforce the knees on my denim jeans, as they wear thin. This is in addition to repairing my leather sofas with it.

I tried a few products in the past and nearly gave up trying, but other reviews on this product made me try it for my black vinyl chair. Here are my observations:
1) It's much easier to use on black objects because the color match is so much closer/easier than other colors
2) for peeling/scratched or ripped vinyl top layers, this was really easy to use. Simply clean with rubbing alcohol, let dry and get the kit out. The included small plastic spatula was easy to use to spread out the repair material per the included instructions. It didn't fill the repair area fully the first time, but the second time looked really good.
3) Once it dried, the only issue was the sheen. It was shiny compared to the other vinyl, and the instructions tell us to buff the repair with rubbing alcohol after the repair dries. The instructions said leather repairs would get dull after buffing due to oils in the leather. Unfortunately, vinyl doesn't have those oils so the repair lost a little shine with buffing, but it is still more shiny than the vinyl.

Overall, it still looks better repaired than it did peeling. I considered having a bigger repair area that included a whole strip across the arm of the chair, instead of just around the peeling hole, but I will buff the repair one more time and see how that goes first. The process takes the repaired item out of commission for a day to ensure it dries after each repair or fill, so my chair couldn't be used for 2 days when I repaired the arm (initial repair, then an extra fill in the uneven hole).

So--I really like the product and the repair process. The repair was much easier because I didn't have to mix any colors to make a good color match. I ordered the color kit for another item and will see how that goes after I receive it.

So i bought this on a whim was rushed, didnt do any research into the product, actually ordered the wrong thing but turned out to be exactly what i needed! Its crazy how things worked out, even the employee i chatted with online about the effectiveness it would have on these pair of leather vans, which needed touch ups very bad.....as you can see from the first pictures. So i decided to start on a very small area in a area which wouldnt even be noticeable in the event things didnt work out. Within moments after the first small application i knew this stuff would be able to bring these shoes back to life, gradually moving from section to section with ease and minimal usage. I found that the little brush provided in the package was a little less than adequate for at least my situation, so i used a stiffer paint brush that i had from home and worked unbelievably good. I started playing with different ways of applying the product and found that "cross-hatching" style first with the grain of the horizontal then vertical or vice versa worked best and then to get the excess amounts worked in as well as ensuring the application was evenly spread out, was to use "wax on-wax off" for you karate kid fans (circular motions) both either right/left as well as up/down. I only put one application to each area then let it dry over night, and might go over it again later this morning if needed which i will update, if that process is in fact needed to be done. these pics were take prior to using this and post use, as it wasnt dry yet either. But overall so far i am beyond satisfied with the purchase of this and would recommend this to anyone with leather shoes that need a little life put back into them. Plus there is so many added benefits and things which come extra to purchasing with these kind people. But as i did you'll just have to wait and see for yourself! hope this helped and informative as i it intended to be.
