Installed on a 2005 Jeep LJ/TJ
Seems very well made and nice thick metal. I saw some other reviews saying that they hardware didn't work for them"¦"¦ they must have fixed this because the hardware I got was great. Came with two sets of the mounting bolts (I assume that they are for different year model applications).
Last picture is my hood all the way up resting on the windshield. No clearance issues at all (as long as you remember to take the jack off before lifting it that far).
Great product!

Great but bolts are wrong

The media could not be loaded. Great for the money but the bolts are not for Jeeps. Jeep hoods have built in nuts that are 5/16-18 thread. These bolts are metric and too fine of thread. Went to the hardware store and picked up some grade 5 bulk bolts the right size. Cost me less than a dollar and they are stronger. Overall a great product but the bolts are all wrong for YJs.
Easy install, looks great

bolted right onto the hood hinges with no problem, great fit, works well for the sky jack. No instructions were provided, but if you're even marginally mechanically inclined, it's pretty obvious. The only part that may give some folks pause is that you have to use the bolt and locking nut provided to create the stud, and don't tighten all of the way until you've done a loose fit to see where your jack holes need to line up. Once you have it in the proper place, tighten down and use the wingnut to secure.

If you are like I was, I wasn't sure how this was going to work. But I can assure you that this work.
The first thing I will say is it only me 30 minutes to install. Just be careful to not take all three bolts out. It's a bracket under the hood that is a pain in the ass to reinstall. What I did was take one of the original hood bolts out and install the new hardware with the lift jack bracket. Then remove the other two bolt, line up the bracket, and tighten everything down.
I would highly recommend you find a pair of pliers to keep in your jeep. Because the little bolt things used to finger tighten the jack in place will more than likely not hold your jack in place if you only finger tighten. So use a pair of pliers to get the down tighter. Afterwards, it won't be easy to steal your jack. That is the only down this buy.
