First use of product like this. Tolerance very slight on install. After several tries this is how I got it to work. 1 mount hook. 2 hang latch closed and mount with wire tight as possible. 3 use common blade screw drive to bend up hook slightly. Repeat 3 until sufficient tension to keep latch closed. So no instruction provided but materials (gage of latch wire etc) very good. Would reorder.

I had a plastic case for a floor jack and one for a tow chain that the snaps for the covers had broken. I replaced them with these and they work fine.
I did have some difficulty getting the two pieces positioned in exactly the right location to correctly lock, but that was because of the shape of the cases I was working on.
