We love these shelves and have three so far. They are elegant, simple to assemble, and hold a good deal of items per shelf. Having kids, these are perfect because they are automatically attached to the wall for safety, which keeps you from having to purchase additional items to tether it to the wall. One thing is that the studs provided are crap. Use the good ones you buy at the hardware store instead.

This is a stunning piece of furniture! It's not solid wood, but rather particle board with a veneer finish, but it's pretty heavy weight. I know because I dropped it on my foot while building by myself. It took me about an hour as one person without much skills at putting things together. I've gotten a lot of compliments on it.

I waffled a bit on whether to order from this seller or some less expensive versions of similar unit. After closely studying photos of "ours" and "there's" I opted to pay a few more dollars and hope for a quality item. Super impressed with the quality and the end result. Easy to put together with the exception of a few of the tapped holes that forced us to struggle a bit to get them started. We ended up forcing some of the screws into their homes and basically re-tapping the threads, then taking apart and actually assembling after threads were set. This did not affect the integrity of the unit, just a little more time and effort involved in the assembly. In the end, super happy and have rec'd many compliments on it.
