This thing works perfect and half the price of its competitors.
Sturdy and versatile cart.

Love this cart, simple and allows me to set things up the way I want. Don't need a seat. The drink holders were not great, but I took them off and have been adding some things of my own, like an umbrella mount and storage.
Great cart, holds large bags well, well made

My 9 year old son and I play 3-4 days/week and have done so for the last couple of years. As he's improved, he's started carrying more discs and using my old Dynamic Discs Trooper bag and I upgraded to a larger Commander. (Another story -- wish I had just stayed with the Trooper -- not a fan of the Commander!) Anyway, after a recent round at Steady Ed in Appling, we decided it would be nice to have carts for longer courses like this -- take a load off our backs and still be able to bring a full quiver of discs. Having this larger Commander bag, it looked like the ZUCA large cart was going to be the best way to go for me, and that the MVP Rover would be the best for my son. I put them both together and found out: a) that the Rover would indeed hold the large Commander bag just fine, and b) that I actually like the Rover much better than the larger ZUCA cart!!! The wheels are exactly the same for both carts (minor style difference, but all the same materials and tread). The Rover's materials are solid. The way it's designed, the water bottle holders and side pouches on the larger Commander bag don't rub against the wheels. In contrast, the water bottle holders on the bag are useless with the ZUCA cart and the side pouches, when full, are very close to the wheels and will likely rub when out on rough terrain. The large ZUCA does have the seat function, but it has to be lifted up to get to putters in the bag below. That means strapping a cooler to the bench is out. For the difference in price between the 2 and the lack of functionality, I prefer the Rover with no bench, and could easily attach my little tripod stool to the Rover. My only real complaint about the Rover is that the water bottle holders are really low. But that was super easy to fix. I found a piece of scrap cedar (it's light-weight and weathers well), sanded and oiled the cut pieces, drilled 4 holes, bought 4 new screws/washers/nuts from the hardware and in 30 minutes had the water bottles where I wanted them! (see image) All-in-all, the MVP Rover cart is well-made, holds a good sized bag, is easily modified, and I found it preferable to the much bulkier and more expensive ZUCA large cart, which I think I'll be returning for another Rover!

I've read some of the reviews. Mine came mostly assembled except for the handle and the wheels. It had a detailed assembly instructions but wasn't necessary. It come with a toookit. Now I've assembled a lot of stuff. If it comes with tools your expected to use them. Test every screw. The wheel nuts have hex locking screws to prevent them from working loose. I suggest greasing the axle and plastic spacers during assembly. The water bottle racks held my 32oz bottles fine. My only complaint would be that I got it for my nucleus bag and it is tight and cuts about two or three discs out of my bag. But hey it does a good job otherwise.
Great product, still needs some updating...

The axle knobs have these sink screws that don't work. The knobs are plastic, and inside the knob is a brass female bolt, but it's really thin. So the sink screw just grinds the plastic and barely touches the brass opening, so it literally has the plastic to apply force to sink into the steel axle..? The plastic ended up eroding and crumbling, and lost the knobs on the course only after a week. The distributor said they'll send out the lost parts per warranty as soon as they're able to... This issue can easily be mended with 1/2"-13 Nuts and Nord-Lock washers. All in all, I'm happy with the design as the Rover can make it over steps and large rocks with ease, and it's super light weight, in case you have to pick it up. *Update: Zuca makes the exact same parts BUT they're higher quality plastic and it fits this model. You're welcome! :D
