Had to purchase this retroviewer to work better with custom reel I had made. Pictures were more in focus with this viewfinder than a regular viewmaster, although a bit pricey!

I bought this as a gift. First of all the box looked like it has been kicked around and sat on several times which made me have to go buy a different box to gift it in. The viewer itself was just a cheap, genetic viewer. I don't know exactly what I was expecting, but I did think it would maybe have something other than no decoration/logo/sticker on it... The film that you send in for us easy to create and pretty fun. I don't understand why you have to wait for the viewer to get delivered before you can get the code to order the film. That was a downfall. Overall it was just an okay gift. I gave it 3 stars because it is unique and it worked but I wouldn't buy another one.

This was a great retro gift for my friend turning 40! He's very hard to buy for but he loved this!
