This unit should prove To be a very useful addition to my welding helmet when working in low light conditions. Overall the light and attachment bracket seem to be rock solid.
I have not yet used the light long enough to comment on the battery life but only a single AA battery may be a weak link.

The brightness is dim. Paying for mostly the metal casing. Using this at work is fine. Haven't tried in a rain environment but I imagine it can last upon examination. Light will flicker due to poor internal engineering. To fix the flicking, just have to shake it or readjust the tightness of the cap. The screw clamp design is perfect for keeping it attached to my helmet.
