So as far as aesthetically pleasing and holding my bible this is top notch. The design is very well executed and the cover itself is sturdy and durable. I can tell this is going to last a long time. The only downside is it isn't big enough to hold a notebook as well. Not even a small one. I have a hardback bible "The Message" so it takes up all the space in this bible cover which is unfortunate because I wanted to utilize it more.
