Surprisingly good product

It did perform better than I expected, but I did not have high expectations, as that is the nature if trying to use vinyl as a countertop surface, it is just not good practice. That being said.. if you still want to try to take the cheap way out, I would recommend this. Sometimes it is not feesible to replace counter tops, and that is when this stuff can save your day. It takes skill to apply properly, not because this product is lacking, but because what you are trying to do requires great skill to look perfect. With the correct skill level, this stuff can look amazing. I don't expect it to hold up long term, but it works in a pinch. Do NOT put hot items on it, do NOT drag stuff across it and you'll be fine... for a little while. Do use a water/ soap mix (very very very little soap) to apply it and get a heat gun. Order more than you need and practice first. This is not good for counters with curves, as no vinyl product really is.

So pleased! I received it yesterday. Started putting it up last evening. Worked completed today. Did it all by myself. I am an elderly grand-ma. Can't wait for my sons to see it. Merchandise came as advertised. Very nice colors matching my kitchen's gold walls. Only has a little bit left from the 36x180 roll. In some parts a minimal amount of glue needed. Can be applied easily. All the colors are even. I was able to fix a few bubbles and to remove and reposition the vinyl without difficulty. The little tool they send is very helpful though I had already purchased some prior to receiving the merchandise. Hard for people to pinpoint any imperfection if a mistake is made because of the colors and the texture of the vinyl. My kitchen looks so beautiful for less than $100.00. I had checked that same item in a reputable store. The purchase price with labor would have been so expensive. Even the sales person thought that was not only outrageous but ridiculous. And this is the ' honest truth.' I have tried so many things in that depressing-looking kitchen wit gray cabinets: Expensive paints and contact paper. Was never satisfied. Lots of money and energy wasted and I am not young. This time, That's it. Yes! I AM DONE AND HAPPY. If I could take a picture I would send one for people to see. So glad I took my chance in spite of some negative reports. Most things in life come with difficulty, especially good things. They also bring great rewards: Self satisfaction, feeling of accomplishment. GRAND-MA is sooo PROUD. I highly recommend it. Remember: Patience is a VIRTUE. Don't embark on a project when you are tired and don't rush! Good luck!

This paper gave my kitchen a whole new look. Love how it look so much like granite. The one problem I could not solve was the bubbles, however they are not that noticeable unless you look closely.
