So happy I bought this

I live in Ca. Our weather has been very unpredictable. Very low temps , hail , cold weather . I bought the big cover here . I used every bit . Covered my baby citrus tree and my hydrangeas. Easy on easy off . I took them off a week ago , back on today . I used close pins to secure it . For the price you can't beat it. Hopefully my plants and citrus will make it thru this crazy winter . I feel better knowing I'm pro active in protecting my yard !!
Great row covers!

These row covers are GREAT! I initially used them for a hard frost that came up pretty quickly and all of my plants survived! Now I use them right after I plant my seeds/starts to protect them from bugs and they work great (you just have to lift them up a bit to allow for pollination once your flowers bloom). This season I've actually kept them on even longer because we have had a LOT of intense weather in Colorado (2023) and they actually have been protecting my plants from hail. I am a BIG fan of these covers and highly recommend them to any gardener!!
Used for light frost in SF Bay Area

This worked well for the frost we just experienced in parts of the SF Bay Area last week. Temps were going below 32 degrees in the early morning hours where we live and there was ice on car window. So, I cut up sections of this cloth and put over succulents and some young citrus. I like how light weight the fabric is - and how it lets in light (although I took it off during the day).
It was interesting to see how it worked: In the morning, my large potted succulent bowl out in the open (not under a tree or near a house) had a lot of moisture on top the frost cover - and was freezing cold to the touch. But the plants under the cloth were dry. So, the cover was necessary to protect it. The cloth that was covering plants under a tree felt dry and was not very cold to the touch. (I once heard that frost "drops down," so I'm assuming a tree can offer some protection from a frost that is fed by moisture.) This is just two day's of observation but I thought I'd share it anyway.
Bottom line: I slept better at night knowing my plants were protected by this cloth regardless of where they were in the yard.

Excellent for frost

Love it! Easy to use, very light weight. I had to tie down as I live in central PA area. My yard mostly has a breeze year round, a bit windy in spring. I used these on my raise garden beds for frost protection early spring. Did not protect tomato leaves as I didn't have tied down completely and breeze lifted material. It did prevent plants from dying though just a bit of leaf damage. I ultimately used zip ties tied to poles by poking through material with a small whole punch. Never tire from pull of wind! In July I used them to keep beetles from attacking my garden. Learned a lesson: I didn't tie them down and white moth got in and laid eggs for green worms that attached my Brussels sprouts. Lesson learned to check entire produce daily when covered, don't just peek in from end, inspect plants daily. I was already treating for those green buggers but falsely thought since I sprayed with dish detergent mix and covered right away that all would be safe. We had high 90s for 3 days & when I uncovered I had at least 30 worms to kills by hand. I uncovered the plants so birds could help eat any remaining worms I may have missed. Next year I plan to keep covered after Spring. The above are just awareness items to keep in mind. This product is excellent and I plan to continue using & will buy again.
Works perfectly!

We had very late frost this year and without this I would have lost much of my Japanese Maple and Wisteria as I did a few years ago! Thank you for the protection and ease of use- one person can easily apply this ( well with the help of a pole) because it is pliable and does not tear . Easy to take off and fold up for the next use!
