I have bought this twice now. I have never tried any other kind, but I don't feel I need to. These photos don't even do it justice, the colors are so vibrant! I typically use 3 coats of clear and have a decent amount of working time. Once I messed up and kept pulling it up to move it, the decal tore, but that was definitely my fault, it was already drying. I learned that if I just add a little water to the surface, I can do a lot with it. I have completed 4 projects with this stuff and am very happy with them all. I also normally spray white on top, but for a cup I made for my sister I kept it clear and it was beautiful, you couldn't see any lines and I cut around the design leaving a pretty good size border.
Works with practice

My first attempt was blank film. I put more clear covering on and the second attempt was better. I'm not sure why but yellow and gold didn't show up at all. I think with a little more practice it will be great
Works exactly as described.

I use this product to make custom decals for my model railroad cars and buildings. Because I am modeling in n-scale, all printing and cutting must be precise. This paper, unlike others I have tried, applies the ink from my ink-jet printer perfectly. I simply set my printer to best quality and select photo paper. The results are flawless. The instructions recommend soaking the paper for 30 to 60 seconds. I found my best results (i.e., no decal curling) when soaking the decal closer to the 30-second mark. This may just be a function of the tiny size I am making (n-scale).
Even though I am making tiny decals, I don't waste paper. I simply set my printer to print in a different area of the paper and send the sheet through again. How great is that, getting multiple passes?
I highly recommend this specific product to anyone doing crafts.
