So this product makes a BIG difference. I am currently waiting for my first coat to fully dry but I can already feel the dry areas and that this product dries down and won't transfer. It was super easy to apply. My damage areas were huge so I used a wiping motion to apply instead of blotting/ stippling. I can see stroke lines but another coat will be applied to fox that. Although it is drying darker than when I initially applied it, it's not as dark as the original color of my deep brown sofa. I just ordered a competing product that appears to be much darker in review photos which will arrive tomorrow. I will have to use it on the rest of the couch so it all matches. I also have decorative stitching in my sofa so that gets covered up when applying this product so even more reason to do the whole sofa to match. If you have a large area to cover like mine, I would suggest 2 jars. I used almost a full jar doing my first coat on one long cushion and as you can see from the photos it made a big difference already. Be careful not to get any strands of hair trapped in the finish while you are applying (a mistake I made that I had to pull out after it was dry). As far as color, I would say this is a dark brown with a bit of warmth or a slight reddish undertone. Hope that helps if you are contemplating this "dark brown" color choice for your needs. My sofa color is actually the darkest espresso brown color - like a brown/black but they don't carry anything darker than this dark brown color. I almost considered ordering one jar of their black to get a custom color blend - before finding a different manufacturer to try. When applying do use a blotting and pressing motion instead of wiping stokes if you can. You will see streaks when dry otherwise. I think coat #2 should take care of that for me using the different method. Another piece of advice would be to also get a conditioning wax / sealer to finish it off and take away any dullness. 4 -5 jars should allow you do to an entire sectional sofa (cushions, back, sides etc). It blends and smooths on really well and in the kit they give you gloves (essential!) and 2 applicator sponges. Before I tried it I was wondering if it was going to stay moist/tacky like a balm - but it does not. It dries completely. I have to say but for the color difference it is excellent.

Went on easy. Applied thin layer and then touched up. Dries very fast so need to work quickly. This was one coat. Covered the entire couch. Might recommend in between pillows to either place something to keep it open to air or use hair dryer to fry up so it does t stick together. Husband thinks it looks like a new couch.

I purchased this to use on my leather furniture"¦ primarily my reclining chair around where your head rests. I suspect oils from hair or products caused the area to fade and discolor ruining the appearance of the chair. Also, there were scratches on the leather from the dog jumping up onto the furniture. After trying this product I'm sorry I didn't look into something like this sooner! After one application I'm amazed at the result! The discolored area is covered and hardly noticeable. I suspect with one more application unless you knew it was there you wouldn't notice. The scratched areas are also covered. It's very easy to apply and hardly any product was used"¦ I highly recommend this product. The amazing part is once applied and dry it doesn't rub off on your clothes.

I couldn't be happier with the results of using this product on our leather recliners. There were several places on each chair where the color had worn off leaving a lighter gold appearance. After touching up the chairs with the balm you can't tell where the worn places were. All the coloring on the seam at the front of the seat cushion was completely worn away. I was able to use the tiny brush included in the kit to make the front seam look like new.

I ordered this product with some trepidation because I wasn't even sure if it would color the blotches on my leather couch. On top of that, I am a confirmed non-handy person. Anything that involves work on my part, I try to avoid. But I liked my couch and I thought I'd give it a try. Lo and behold! It was so easy to use that I fell in love with it. If I had another leather couch needing the treatment, I'd happily do it. It is not only easy to use, but it also works perfectly! My couch looks brand new now. I never thought it could be possible. The only downside I can think of is, the vial contains much, much more than I need. I used only about 15% of what's there. But it was money well spent.
