So easy to set up that I did it while i was high, man... and compact too. My mom's basement it pretty small. Best 45th birthday gift ever!

I'm getting ready for veggie planting season, but some plants are year-rounders. I typically keep them in random spots around the house, but when one of my big mothers (not pic'd) started to flower unexpectedly and unplanned, I had to figure out the lights and living situation fast. I have propped lights, but they've gotten unruly. I needed to hang them, but I'm not putting holes in my ceilings. I've been eying grow tents for a while and you can't beat the price and quality of these Vivosun tents. I bit the bullet and ordered Tuesday, and it with other stuff I got for it came Thursday, super quick. My husband brought the tent upstairs himself in a single, long, flat box, which surprised me - it was smaller than I expected.

The two of us assembled it today in about an hour. One person can almost certainly put together themselves, but I imagine it would probably take about twice as long. It's just way easier with two people. All the pieces were labeled clearly, and they were all included as expected, which is half the battle. The quality is the other half, and I was NOT disappointed at all. The fabric is heavy-duty, but it's not heavy, in a good way. Some reviews had issues with zippers, and while there's almost always going to be a ramdom defect somewhere, our zippers had ZERO issues. There were one or two tough spots where you had to go over them a couple times to iron them out, but we didn't have any splits or bad teeth. They're actually pretty stellar. The rods are a thicker mL hollowed metal, not the cheap flimsy tin. All the pins popped into place with ease, even when we realized we'd positioned a couple corners wrong and had to redo them. No problems. The dimensions are exact with no awkward slacking. The instructions are a single piece of paper with a diagram, which leaves something to be desired, but honestly it makes sense and it works. Keep in mind, though, that you will have to figure out the most practical way to "wrap" the framing with the fabric. We put the tent in my small office, so we had to make do with a half and half approach, putting the left half into the unzipped fabric and then attaching the right half. There's more than one way to skin a cat, though, so look at how they suggest you put it together, but know that there are probably 4 other ways to assemble based on your space.

So the first hour was the tent assembly and the rest was the fan, lights, wiring, plant placement and customizing, which took about 2 hours. Now I have properly hung lights and ventilation, and my girls and I truly could not be happier. My only complaint is now I don't get to see my girls whenever I walk past and smile, but I know they're happy, healthy, and it's for their own good. In a week when I do my veggie seeds, I know they're going to do awesome in this new space too!

This was my 6th vivosun product and the only one I did not immediately return.

They were the only brandname who sold the 6ft tall tent at a reasonable price; otherwise, I would have never bought another vivosun product.

Tent is solid and as advertised (unlike most other tents on Amazon).

The directions are not great. But once we got it together right it was great! Love everything about it now that it is set up! Overall would recommend but frustrating during the set up process. Love the reflective layer on the inside, makes everything so bright! High quality material and is quite sturdy. Worth it for the price

Easy to assemble with very clear instructions
Only thing I am worried about is how the zipper will hold up only time will tell
But after two runs I could not be happier
