I bought the Shine Duo ST1 which is exactly like the ST2 minus the EB key and the sound is nothing short of phenomenal! I have a Buffet Prestige professional level wood clarinet and I can't tell the difference other than their weight. I don't know how they can manufacture a clarinet made of ABS that sounds equal to a clarinet made of Grenadila wood but they have. The sound and keys quality could take you to a professional level playing in a Philharmonic Orchestra and no one would know the difference except you and the affordable price you paid!

I like the sound and quality of the build of this instrument. The price was right and since is not wood it requires less maintenance. This is an excellent clarinet for a beginner or intermediate player.

EDIT!!! The manufacturer sent me a new professional mouthpiece, I tried it out and it sound absolutely wonderful! Way better than my usually mouthpiece (B45) this just warmed up my tone and made it more clear and round. Thank you guys so much!! â¤ï¸

Love this beautiful instrument, when I first received it, it was absolutely gorgeous, packaged correctly. When you first get I highly suggest really making sure the corks are covered in cork grease, I would coat it and let it soak up a bit until it's more soft, this allows the instrument to easily put together with our bending the keys.

Good: Love the tone quality (honestly sound better than my groups wood clarinets that cost $$$) Super light weight, I play at least a couple hours a day and my wrist don't hurt. I liked how it came with mouthpiece patches and other accessories, very nice touch.

The Bad: I hate the case I'll be a bit picky just cause I feel like it's a little too soft, and I don't like how it opens, it's very awkward to try an balance on your knees and it's wanting to shut constantly while you're trying to put the clarinet together, I'll be buying a different case.
The mouth piece and ligature is complete trash, I donated it to my young cousin who's beginning, as a intermediate player myself it wasn't cutting it. I use the Clark debute mouthpiece with ronver ligature and V12 vandorn reeds, I get such beautiful round, warm tones from This clarinet. My usual clarinet is Yamaha advantage, this blows it out of the water 1000000% my Yamaha has nothing on this tone quality.

Besides those issues, this is worth the money, I'm super happy with my purchase and now I own a beautiful clarinet that I can play anywhere.
