These feeders keep life simple and the fish happy. They work well and have sturdy clips, which has been an issue with other products. I have not knocked them into the water a single time! The only downside is that I have not found a way to offset the feeders so that with 2 of them, I can feed every 6 hours. These automatically start at "0" time and then feed at 12 or 24 hours. Even with this, I am extremely happy with the product and will purchase it again when I expand to another tank.
Good for standard 10 gallon tank

I used this for a trip recently and it worked great. There's an option on the back to dispense food at 12 or 24 hours, so there's no specific time to set. If you pop the batteries in at 6pm and fill it, it will go off again at 6am (if set for 12 hours). I have a standard 10 gallon tank and I put it in the cutout I usually use for the heater. I used flakes and was worried that it would just create a mess but it worked well. It's a simple, easy to use feeder.
A decent feeder once you make a MINOR modification. Read review for instructions.

This Auto Feeder's timer is set when you first insert the batteries into it.
The button on the back is for manual feeding.
The switch on the back is for feeding every 12h or every 24h.
This feeder will require some modifications to make it dispense the proper amount of food, because it will either dump way too much food or very little.
Remove the Clear food cover then slide out the food adjustment door (see pics). It slides right out when you pull on the round knob. After removing the door, you'll notice a flap (door) section. Take a small file or a sharp knife and cut 2 or 3 SMALL notches in the Flap (door) to let the food slide thru (see pics). Slide the Door back into place.
Load up some food and push the manual feed button to test and see if it is dispensing the proper amount of food. If it is too little, make your notches a little bigger. Repeat procedure until it dispenses the proper amount of food.
I can now keep the adjuster door setting on the second to the lowest setting and it dispenses the perfect amount of granular food :)

Convenient

I had this setup now for a couple of weeks . I added flakes and sinkers to it for my bottom feeders. It is set for every 12 hours. I have noticed that on some rotations the sinkers will not fall. I have changed the opening to accommodate more flow but it remains the same. I am thinking about getting another one for each food so I don't have to worry if one is being fed or not. Overall I like it.
