The media could not be loaded. I spent several weeks researching projectors for indoor/outdoor use and I'm really glad I found this Yaber product. So far, I've used this outdoors at night and it's worked perfectly. (See my attached video) Get yourself a screen and it's awesome! I've even used this on a white wall in my bedroom and the picture quality is solid.

The projector works great out of the box. It's nice that an HDMI cord is included. Can easily connect a laptop or cell phone. The projector has buttons on top to cycle through settings but the remote is so helpful. I hope I never lose it! Remote has great range and you don't even have to point it directly at the projector for it to work.

Picture quality is VERY good considering the price of this projector. (See video in my review) I've seen $1,000+ projectors in action and this projector can easily compete with them. During day use, if you have a bright room, turn up the brightness on the projector. During dark/night times, you can turn it down and adjust the contrast and other settings to your liking.

The focus for the lens works smoothly and is helpful if you move your projector around often. The speakers on this projector is better than I thought it would be but I hooked up a sound bar via Audi/component cable.

The projector itself is not super quiet due to the fan inside but I'm glad the projector isn't overheating after a long movie or two. Just avoid sitting right next to the unit and you'll be fine.

All in all, I love this projector and do not regret my purchase. It's a great deal for your money and puts out a movie theater like picture!

After using this projector for a couple of months, I am more than satisfied with it's performance. For the price there are sacrifices to be aware of. This unit does not have any zoom capabilities and the keystone capabilities and off center adjustments are not praise worthy. However, if you have the ability to setup this projector, properly, aligned to the screen, without having to use the keystone functionality, the picture quality is rather impressive for the cost of the machine. Those who are thinking of purchasing this device needs to be aware of limitations with projectors that are universal to all projectors and also not expect to have the same quality as a device 5-10x the cost. When setup correctly I think the picture quality is good and the sound from the built-in speakers are good enough, for use within a small room. The fans are rather loud, but, after using it for a couple months I'm not bothered by them. The one feature I find nice is the 3.5mm audio output jack that allows sounds to be output to an external device. I've seen a device that cost 6x more that didn't provide at some output capabilities. If you want to try out a projector and can spend 300 dollars, that's for the projector and screen, I recommend this projector. The one thing it is not good for is attaching it to a computer. The picture quality is not that good with small computer fonts. Streaming media, movies, games, I give 2 thumbs up.

The media could not be loaded. This product is pretty good. I mainly have been playing video games on it. The video I took is of me playing some Apex Legends on the projector (i.e., a high-quality game) and I would say the footage is good, even though it is half past noon and there is lots of ambient light in the room. I noticed some sort of blurry moments in the video I am posting which I only attribute to the quality of the iPhone 7 video and not really the projector itself (i.e., there really was no noticeable blur moments irl when I was playing just then).
Though I had some doubts about the projector at first (in terms of quality), I became much more impressed with the projector after I actually took the time to read the instructions. The reasons I was having problems with game play quality upon initial test was that a) the projector was at too much of an angle so some parts of the screen were slightly blurry (i.e., you want your projector to IDEALLY BE LEVEL with the surface that you're projecting on) and b) I hadn't really tweaked my image quality settings. I included an image of my user picture settings for the projector (which are MUCH different from the natural projector settings) for reference. Both of these things really helped me to get great quality while gaming.
Also, one thing about this projector that I love is that it has super low lag input, meaning that your gaming will mostly be pretty smooth (unless your console is tweaking). The only slight problems I have had with this have been easily fixed by plugging in the HDMI cable more firmly.
One disclaimer I will say is that this projector does NOT have the same quality as a normal relatively high-quality tv. So If you want a projector with absolutely superb quality, you are going to need to purchase a more expensive projector such as the BenQ. However, for the price, this projector is extremely worth it. I got this during cyber Monday of this year, which reduced the price from >$400 to about $220. This was literally a steal. Also, you get a present from them after you get the projector which is pretty nice as a thank you gift. I actually do really like this projector, but to be very honest the thank you gift (an 100" projector screen) is the main reason I have spent the time to write this.

So, I have been into projectors for 20+ years. I have also introduced many people to them over the years. That said, I am used to inexpensive projector giving you the bare minimum, so I did not hope for too much. Was I ever surprised by this guy. I know it sells for around $200 but I got it used for almost half off. The price was good so I took a chance.

WOW. That was my feeling after going through the features. Now, you are not going to get hundreds of features, but the ones you get are the ones you need. Here are the ones that matters to me.

1 - Zoom (X/Y) Allow a lot of flexibility of where and how you position the projector
2 - Easy Focus
3 - Bright - it says 7000, no where near that, but was brighter than my previous projector.
3 - Built-in sound is good, but didn't matter to me as I use external speakers, and anyone into home theater should do the same, unless you are using in a bedroom or small space. Spend around 100 -150 get a 2.1 speaker set, or high quality soundbar to really upgrade your experience. Go all out with a 5.1 system if you have the budget for it.
4 - 4D keystone means you can mount this at an angle from the screen, instead of needing to be directly in front of it.

If this is your first projector, or you are looking for a full 1080p budget projector, this will work. Enjoy

Now to be honest, the one issue I have with LED base projectors, is they are nowhere as bright as there bulb based competitors, but if you are going to be presenting to a large room of people you should be looking to spend more. But, for those who want a non expensive movie projector, and will use this in a place with low light level, or at night, this will do the job just find. I use in my bedroom and it works great. I have attached a pic taken late evening with some light peeking in. Not sure why anyone would want to compare this projector to those that are bulb based and cost way more. Be realistic about what you are getting and you won't be disappointed. I use this with a light rejecting screen, so, it is as bright as a TV in low light settings.

The brightness and picture quality are great. The fans, however, run at 48-54 dB (which is in the range of a whisper or a quiet house) - so if you're doing a presentation or such, it's probably ok for you. If it's near you in a small home theater though (ours has only two seats and is about 12 feet by 20 feet), it's very noticeable during quiet parts of movies, and is at just the right frequency range to make quiet dialog difficult to understand (imagine someone whispering in your ear while you're trying to listen to a quiet person talk).

Customer support couldn't fix the fan problem, but was very helpful in explaining it: the projector uses a bulb, and it's a bright one, and that bulb requires cooling. So, the unit has three fans. If you need bright (e.g. you're doing presentations in a lit conference room) and don't care too much about some fan noise, this projector works great. If you don't need bright (e.g. for a small home theater), look for an LED-based projector (e.g. a DLP projector) with lower lumens - LEDs don't generate as much heat, and lower lumens also means less heat which means less cooling requirements.

Update: I'm bumping the review from 4 to 5 stars - customer support is spectacular beyond anything I've ever experienced; incredibly responsive and they go out of their way to make sure you're happy with their product. I originally rated the projector 4 stars because I felt it was misleading to rate an item 5 stars that I had to return, but the projector I ordered to replace it (the Optoma HD146X) is over twice the price, so I'm not sure that's a fair comparison (and, in fact, I think says a lot for the Yaber projector). In its price range, combined with the support you get should you need it, the Yaber was the best projector I tried.
