Pretty design, but the background is a muted blue. Definitely Not Green. There is just a little green here and there on the design. I purchased to go with a green rug. May have to return. We'll see. Disappointed about the color.

This is a very nice, good quality quilt. The colors are subtle (which is what I wanted), not garish or super bright. It has a vintage look to it. It has a nice "hang" on the bed and the weight is great. It did have a sort of chemical odor when I opened the bag, but that's typical of imported things that are sealed well for packaging. It arrives vacuum sealed. Once I knew I liked the print and quality, I washed it and the smell disappeared. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is the following: *the description says "Unique Style: Floral Paisley Grid Pattern with Real Stitched Embroidery", which is misleading. It isn't actually Embroidery. They are referring to the sewn quilting of the entire quilt (as expected). *The pillow shams are a bit smaller than the listed measurements. The ones I received are 19"x35" (not 20"x36"). It's OK, they still work on my king size pillows but they fit very tight. Keep that in mind if your pillows are the super fluffy type.

I ordered a queen size so I could use it on my king bed as a throw on the end. It has not been cold enough yet to use but it looks so beautiful! Altho the squares are not really separate pieces, but printed on the fabric, because of the wonderful stitches it looks like they are.
