What I like about this cover is that the plastic is thick enough that it stands up in it own. The construction is well done . I like the tabs to lift up the bag. And I like that it's see-through.

I adopted a cat for the first time recently and realized quickly how black cats shed like crazy and you don't notice until it's too late. When I picked my newly serviced Brother 268 (yes, it has worked perfectly since I got it in 1989) and a cloud of cat hair fell off I knew I needed a dust cover. Since I also have a serger I wanted a clear and sturdy cover and this cover fit the bill. The included card says it is made by Rodi's and it is Model C (clear/PVC). I mean it was a perfect fit. Not too big so that it flopped over or moved around a great dal but went to the bottom of the machine once on. I am probably going to put a slit in the top to put the handle through and possible whip stitch a bottom on but it serves it's purpose for now.

This fits my Janome, but it's a bit tight around the wooden base on my vintage machine, so I would pay attention to the measurements if you have a vintage machine with a larger wood base. But I like that it's clear and keeps the dust off of my machine, and the price was right.

This is great! It is see through so it disappears when you drop it over the machine. It is stiff enough to stand on its own so it's easy to put on and off. I have to protect the thread on the machine from my cat, since she likes to eat thread like spaghetti. Weirdo.
